Our first event in the new rooms at Steckgasse 6, Regensburg, was a very nice and familiar introduction to the prayer puja of white Tara and above all was only possible thanks to the one-week visit from Lama Tashi – Thank you, Lama Tashi

Mahamaya e.V. is very pleased to have found space in Regensburg for future events. We have a very large, charming room with a small kitchen and toilet, including an outdoor terrace, in the middle of Regensburg’s old town.

From 28.3. until April 5th the mandala & the practice of Green Tara as well as the healing mask dances from Tibetan Buddhism were broadcast live from the Vietnamese temple in Saarland. The monks meditated and prayed every day for a global healing to overcome the coronavirus. With a lot of effort they scattered the sand mandala of Green Tara and recited the corresponding sacred mantras and prayers. In difficult times these are considered to be a great help and blessing for overcoming suffering and healing of all beings. So that the prayers reach as many people as possible in the world, they were broadcast live for 5 hours a day.

At an event organized by the Free Voters, there was a meeting with Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber and the Mahamahas (Susanne Mic, Katrin Ehmann, Silvia Gross and Manfred Hetznegger). We introduced ourselves and our project “GoGreen GoOrganic”, which aroused great interest.

It is done – our association was founded and we also organized two big events in Regensburg: a European tour in the Thon-Dittmer-Palais and the scattering of a sand mandal in the Degginger house with dissolution on the Danube.

Both events could not be held due to the corona crisis and therefore no funds could be collected. Together with the Himalaya Haus e.V., the campaign “Donations instead of a tour” with the LIVESTREAM offers was then launched.
